IEEE PerCom 2022 going fully virtual
January 10, 2022
Unfortunately, the persistent restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic do not allow any alternative than running PerCom 2022 as a fully virtual event.
Although we would have loved to meet the community in person, plans for such an event were in place already to guarantee a smooth transition.
The Organising Committee is working hard to guarantee an engaging experience for PerCom (virtual) attendees.
Detailed logistics information will be provided in the coming days on the website. Stay tuned!

Conference Overview
IEEE PerCom is the premier annual scholarly venue in pervasive computing and communications. In 2022, PerCom will be held in Pisa, which is known for its precious gothic and renaissance-style buildings including the world-famous leaning tower as well as art and culture in general.
Pervasive computing is constantly at the forefront of mobile systems research, and has found its way into many commercial systems due to tremendous advances in a broad spectrum of technologies and topics such as wireless networking, mobile and distributed computing, sensor systems, ambient intelligence, and smart devices.
PerCom 2022 will be a hybrid physical/virtual event. The boundary between the two modalities will be defined based on the pandemic conditions worldwide.
All papers of the main conference and co-located events will be published in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions in PerCom 2022 special issue organised by Elsevier Pervasive and Mobile Computing.
