The PerCom Demo session provides a venue for the latest breakthroughs in pervasive computing to be presented live to the research community. Demos ranging from examples of working prototypes, novel applications, groundbreaking ideas, and live experiments related to PerCom are all welcome. In particular, we encourage demos from industrial researchers who are leading the way in pushing pervasive technology into the hands of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">A \u201cBest Demo Award\u201d will be presented based on research value, originality, and presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Areas of interest include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Anticipatory computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Big (Sensor) data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Data Science for Pervasive computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Context-aware computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">TinyML implementations designed for microcontrollers and IoT-ready devices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Mobile payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Wearable computers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Smart devices and their integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Positioning and tracking technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Integrated pervasive computing systems (smart spaces, smart cities, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Mobile\/wireless computing systems and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Pervasive computing for smart infrastructures (e-energy, e-mobility etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Pervasive computing for smart Life Science (e-health, m-health, bioinformatics, etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Energy-efficient and sustainable pervasive computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Reliability, availability and performance of pervasive computing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Opportunistic communication for pervasive systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Sensing and actuation for pervasive systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Trust, security and privacy solutions for pervasive systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Novel applications of pervasive computing&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Novel user interfaces and user interaction in pervasive systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Prospective contributors are expected to submit a demo proposal in the form of a short technical paper (no more than 3 pages) using the IEEE Templates&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html\" class=\"\">https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/conferences\/publishing\/templates.html<\/a>). The short paper must illustrate the research contribution of the demo, the practical setup, and the technical requirements. Short demo papers will be included in the PerCom proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Demo proposal submission must be done via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EasyChair<\/strong><\/a><strong> (https:\/\/easychair.org\/)<\/strong>. If you do not have an EasyChair account, please, register first and create an account via the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/account2\/create\">https:\/\/easychair.org\/account2\/create<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Once registered, use the direct submission link for PerCom 2025 (given below) and select &#8220;Demo Papers&#8221; track to submit papers for the Demo track. Paper submission will be active from September 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=percom2025\">https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=percom2025<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The demo proposals will be peer-reviewed with a <strong>single-blind review process<\/strong>. The authors are required to include their names, affiliations and emails in the submission.
